Worldschooling Gathering Corfu
When I stayed here in winter time 2022 I was so craving for other traveling families. This village in Corfu is such a nice spot to spend some quiet time in the off-season. I came here for 4 weeks and ended up staying 7 months.
What made me stay so long?
- There is an international conscious community in the village. There are offers like, Ecstatic Dance, Yoga, Drumming and singing circle.
- There is a signal messenger group where you can get help and answers for nearly any topic.
- The beach is empty, the sky is bright blue and the landscape is so beautiful.
So I decided to organize a gathering for families.
How this Worldschool Gathering is set up
A gathering is like a temporary village with other families. We have a great location where families can rent apartments and stay for a few weeks. The itinerary for the activities will be co-created week by week. I’m so curious what fun activities we will create.
For example, once a week we will have a potluck meal at my house and I will offer painting classes.
We will have a Telegram group were the activities will be visible and organized. As well you can share spontaneous when you go to the beach and others could join.
There will be an Opening Circle in the beginning to get to know each other.
There are no costs to join, but as organizing a gathering takes a lot of work, a voluntary contribution is very much appreciated.

Good to know
- It’s recommended to have a car as the hills are really steep up and down.
- The gathering is planned for 10 families. So that we can get to know each other and know the names.
- The main languages will be English and German. As not all children might speak English, we will find flexibel solutions.

Carola von Ammon
Hey, I’m Carola and I’m from Germany. In 2021 I started traveling in Europe with my son. We spent most of the time in Italy and Greece. As a life coach I help families to find their way on the unschooling journey. Overcoming obstacles, doing inner work and get clarity for the next step are my focus.
Now my son is 5 years old. We like to be outside, playing at the beach, driving the bike. Indoors we like crafting, baking and paining. We eat vegan/vegetarian and try to avoid processed food and sugar as much as we can. I don’t drink alcohol and no drugs.
I like to be surrounded by like minded people who enjoy deep conversations, reflections and exchange. I think it is important to not project on the other and to reflect what happens inside. As well to speak with each other when conflicts arises.
I would like to create a space with this gathering where children and their needs are seen as well as the needs of the adults. To feel safe bringing a topic to table and been heard.
